Mary Beth Rogers is the author of Barbara Jordan: American Hero (Bantam) and Turning Texas Blue (St. Martin’s). She has served as campaign manager to Texas governor Ann Richards, as a faculty member at the University of Texas’s LBJ School of Public Affairs, and as CEO of KLRU-TV, Austin’s PBS affiliate. She lives in Dallas.
